Abstract reports on a randomized trial of adjuvant chemotherapy, a combination of uracil and tegafur (UFT) taken orally, after complete resection of stage I adenocarcinoma. The study showed improved survival among patients with completely resected pathological stage I adenocarcinoma of the lung who received adjuvant chemotherapy with uracil-tegafur (UFT). [4/04]
